Partnership with Creative Industry for Edutainment
Recognizing the power of media and storytelling, UFLA is partnering with creatives (musicians, filmmakers, poets, skit creators) to co-create edutainment content that makes financial literacy accessible, relatable, and entertaining, especially for youth and semi-literate audiences.
Establishment of UFLA Mentorship Programs and Plans for an Institute
UFLA will launch structured mentorship programs to support the continuous growth of trainers and community champions. This includes developing a pipeline of content developers, researchers, and FL ambassadors, laying the foundation for the future UFLA Institute for Financial Literacy and Inclusion
Formation of the UFLA Cooperative
To promote a culture of savings, collective investment, and economic empowerment among its members, UFLA is initiating a financial cooperative (SACCO) exclusively for certified members and trainers. It aims to model the principles of financial literacy through practical implementation.
Content Customization & Translation into 8 Local Languages
UFLA is investing in the localization and translation of the Financial Literacy Curriculum into eight major Ugandan languages to expand reach, comprehension, and impact. This will ensure marginalized and rural populations benefit from tailored financial education content.
Unveiling of the Elite Financial Literacy Influencers Club
UFLA will introduce the Elite Financial Literacy Influencers Club, composed of certified members with a social media following of 5,000+ across platforms. This club will:
- Drive targeted awareness campaigns
- Ensure consistent messaging across digital spaces
- Offer brand visibility opportunities for UFLA partners and sponsors
